Ya 1-2 months was pretty silly of me to say...2-4 months would be more like it lol. & ya...I'd say it'd be fine by itself in a 29g until it reaches about 7"

I would agree with DMD, some sort of puffer would go well in a tank that size. They are also fun to look at and pleasing to the eye with their colors and odd shapes.

You could get a Salvini cichlid. It can stay there for life.
