Need Suggestions for Single CA Cichlid in 125

Hogs are some of the most colorful amphs I have ever kept I have no idea what these people are talking about. Here is a pic of my old pair.

Amphilophus are great wet pets. If you don't want those maybe zonatus? I hear they have tons of personality. As for the beani bloat is a real problem with them. I have seen VERY few adult beani they are not the easiest fish to raise. I have no experience with them but I think they do require special care.

Not every BeANI GET bloat. In my experience and also seeing others, I've never heard of any Beani from real members with bloat. My 2 juvies I kept for a short time were healthy and strong always..
I only hear of the fear. And they come from ppl who never had them and only read about them..

Get a Beani and make it happen. Dont believe too much in that bloat bs.

As for fear of bloat, 1 fish in 125+g is so far away from that. That's great and perfect for a delicate fish.
