Do not underestimate what a poly can do.... Ur best bet is a single bristlenose... As it is one creates a hellawa lot of poop.... I have one with ma Polys no issues but a lot of poop...
I'm no expert but your better off listening to whatever expert advise you get here than thinking you know it all from a years research you have done.... No harm meant just ma dime of advise...

I don't specifically feed my pleco because i have tried for 6 months and h hasn't even made an attempt for the food. But what he does do is sneak a little of my polys food like bloodworms beefheart brineshrimp. All those times he has sat there and even sat on top of the algae wafer while eating the polys' meal. He steals those meals and the cleans of all my decor (which seems to constantly have algae even with him cleaning) But i just want to get s new algae eater that won't hurt my polys. I have decided some bristlenoses and corys. Thanks for all the input guys. Everything helped.
My buddies 6" senegal ate several 3" apistos. Bichirs are well known to eat fish that are impossible for them to eat.
Alright well i'm going with you guys' instructions and going to change my order and keep 1m 2f apistos in my 20. I will take their fry when they are big enough and sell them or donate them to my LFS (we are good friends and it would help his stock) and what ever fry are left over i will put them in the 75 gallon as a nice show. And of they get eaten well i can get more lol.
