Need tank buddy suggestions please

So i had to move my blue acara to my 45g corner tank with my algea eater and my 22 year old african dwarf frog (abnormally big not dwarf) and i wanted to get him a tank buddy or buddies that would be friendly with everything and around the same size as him(roughly 5") i was thinking a severum? but any suggestions is appreciative
 
What about mollies or gourami. I've even kept smaller dwarf or ram cichlids with a frog before. If you go with cichlids make sure you don't get a breeding pair though.

did you move the blue acara because he was too aggressive? or getting picked on....you could try a keyhole or thayeri
 
I moved him because he was being picked on horribly from my other tank which was some other chiclids. my third other tank is a guarami community tank so i want to stay away from more of those in my other tanks.

oh and by the way the frog ate the mollies i had in there before.... WHOLE lol.

haha he's a pretty aggressive guy. he can fit a whole molly in his mouth no problem had 4 he slowly widdled them down and either ate their eyes or just ate them entirely. This is why i need some help with fish that are big enough that they wont fit in his mouth and will be safe for the acara as well (hes pretty big)
