Need tank buddy suggestions please

They get way too big for a 54 corner tank (assuming it's a 54 because I haven't seen them come in the 45 size).
Yeah I mixed the numbers by accident it is a 54 but have any suggestions on fish to get? I was gunna go to a very good fish store in my area that sells exotics and ask them about my situation.

It does not attack or go out of it's way to attack larger fish but if anything gets close it will bat at it with it's arms
(The algae eater and frog bump heads sometimes) but other than that he is peaceful.

A firemouth would be way too mean for that setup, my vote goes to rainbows as well

is this a clawed or a dwarf. if it is a dwarf then i recommend things like neons platies cories etc
if clawed i would recommend any fish big enough to not fit in its mouth that wont pick on it and wont be stressed by its erratic swimming.
