someone told me the upkeep on the ac 110 isnt as simple as most hob filters.....what are they talking about?

AC110s are one of the most simplest filters out there. u just rinse the sponge every month or so in tank water.. that's it. u even have it in a basket with handles, so taking it out is simple.

wow i hate salesman because you want to be help not ripped of like what petsmart and petco do!! i like the local fish stores they are honest and they know the damn answer to your question.... some times im like hahahaha

I hpoe you know that if your thinking about petsmart and petco ripping octrpoical fish off there r things cheaper at petco/petsmart than at oc tropical fish

u dont have to replace the filters everymonth like most hob filters???

just run a sump in the 180 keep the 55 and turn it into a sump cheap and easy works very well also

the only thing that needs to be replaced is carbon. most of us don't use carbon though. AC110s don't have cartridges that need to be replaced.
