Hoovering south of the ham
I need to get an orange chromide out of this tank. He's crafty, and I can't go pulling all the plants out. I know it's a crappy pic, but I wanted you guys to see what I'm dealing with. The clay pot in the front was where he use to hang out and I was hoping he would call it home and I could grab him, but no. How do I get out a pest without tearing up my tank?

so you can catch every other fish in the tank but the one ya want

so who ya gonna talk into that job? $5 bucks makes a few suggetions where ya could put your fish trap if ya ask her to do it!

Starve the fish for a while and then feed floating food. With a big net, quickly scoop it out. If other fish get in the net you can sort them out.

I thought about this at feeding time, they all eat out of my hand. But I wa worried about breaking the trust thing. Trust seems to be important for the discus.

Patience is a virtue.....

i would use the food method, i know what you're saying bout trust but netting a fish no matter how you do it is going to stress them out for a while. He'll be back to handfeeding in no time. Possibly your best method, but gl with however you choose
