need to kill blood worms

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had some black worms breeding in my 60, why would you want to get rid of them? I didnt have to feed that tank for months at a time.

i also planted them in my tank on purpose. free food for my loachs. dont ever use copper anyway. it dosnt leave your tank for a very long time. water changes dont get rid of it since it sinks to the bottem of the gravel. getting rid of copper is much harder then ridding worms.

cory cats may help ? i have only sand in both tanks no were to hide for them damm worms

Corys love them.

how did you get them in the tank guppy over feeding it ???
Check back in the thread, I delibrately over fed them in a chosen area, even placing some directly on the gravel while distracting the fish by scatter feeding elsewhere.

I think they are alien larvae and they will hatch and take over the world and it will be your fault. Having said that I am wondering if methylene blue would kill them?
