Need to know if green terrors are really that mean

Hi I was looking to buy a green terror and wanted to see if they are really mean what can they live with?

Their name has terror in it. They must me mean.... Jk. No idea. Probably ok if you give em their own space? Aka big tank if with other species.

There are a few individuals that are really very mean and aggressive. There is an LFS here with 25 individuals packed in a 40 gallon tank. There's an individual that has the other 24 thrusted into the corner. I took one from that crowd of timid GT's. I own one now that is not mean but is able to defend his patch of the tank.

You can keep them with oscars, JDs, etc. They're not too aggressive like their name implies.

The GT's that I have had in the past have all been rather docile.I wondered how that name was attached to them.

I have found that they are pretty harmless compared to many other new world cichlids.

Not particularly aggressive at all...more so than other acaras perhaps. They fit right in with other south americans like chocolates, oscars, Geo brasiliensis etc

A male green terror is a terror to another smaller green terror male, other wise they are okay.
