So if I decide on putting the Jag by itself in the 120, are there any types of fish that would be ok with him and be worth having(as in enjoyable or colorful)? Catfish? What type?

id put the geos alone and all the others together.
I have a breeding pair of jags (almost 15 inch) with a breeding pair of texas and umbees, salvani, green terrors and a feaste all in a 6x2x2, the jags have breed 3 times and they dont kill any of the fish if they are left alone.
So I cant see why your jag wont be able to go with your fish? I find feaste much more aggressive over all then jags sure some jags are real pains but even then they dont pack they super mean aggression. Also if you keep 2 cichlids in one tank etc they will fight all the time you should always try to get a few in there to even the aggression out.
