Need to pick a new filter. Want your reviews of my choices

I wanna thank everyone for the help with my filter search. I'm gonna put it on hold for now as I was able to fix both my emperors today after doing a complete tank cleaning. Broke down all the filters and was able to get the flow I'm used to seeing outta my emp 400's. But will be buying a ac110 once the 150 is up as I don't think the emp 400 will be suit my filtration needs for it

my lfs had the aqueon 400gph for like 29.95 and i know they dont compare to an ac110 but they move water and the cartridges are cheap, just not a lot of flexibility with media.
 
Yea drfosters has them for $23.99. I think I'm good for now with water movement. All my filters are loaded with pot scrubbers and mechanical filtration. Was gonna buy the aqueon for my 20 gallon growout tank tho.

My Ac110 is not loud at all all I can hear is water no filter.. never heard anyone's just stop working .. maybe your friend didn't clean it or something

I'm not sure what happened to his but he tossed it. I plan on buying one for my 150 when set up
