Manual as in a stick?

I don't know how to drive a stick.

I was parking so she took her seatbelt off. Man, I'm really mad at myself.

She's ok, but did have a small cut on her head from the impact. I've never felt so bad before... knowing she's got hurt because my stupid ass couldn't find the break. Imagine trying to break while your foot on the gas pedal.:swear: :swear: :swear:

id love to try stuff like drifting, but theres no way i could thrash a scenic like that

No one is born knowing how to drive a stick, same as no one is born knowing how to drive a car.

If you don't know, LEARN! best way is to save up and buy a junker car for about $1000-$1500. that way u get confidence and won't worry about damaging the car too much.

I will not let my kids learn to drive a car on an Automatic. That is what my Dad did to me. I kept saying that it was useless and that AT is the way to go. Thank God he forced me to learn stick. Driving is now one of my favorite past times and It's gotta be stick for me!!!! I'm going to start teaching my kids how to drive as soon as they can sit comfortably in a car, and reach the pedals and see the road clearly. If my son reaches that stage at 10 years old, then that's when I will start. Off public roads training of course

It happens to most of us Ming. As careful as most of us try to be, accidents are a part of life on the roads.

At least no one got seriously hurt, unlike a certain idiot who totalled his motorbike recently and spent some time in hospital (myself):(

i hate and love motorbikes. unfortunately there are too many dead people associated with them for me

I'm going to sell that Honda and get an SUV so I can put up those front protector thing so if I crash the car won't get damaged.

I didn't even care about the car, I'm glad my mom's OK.

I'm a mommy's boy.

that is the wrong way to think Ming. Your car wont be damaged as much true but did u think about the car u will hit? less damage for you but more damage for them.

I say get a junker and learn to drive MT and practice practice practice!

Not sure if getting a big SUV's the best thing. Sure they might not get damaged as much in a small ding, but maybe the chances of an accident might increase, as their size, cumbersomeness, and lack of handling dynamics make them inferior as a vehicle for inexperience drivers over normal sedans.

YUP! Too high off the ground, more chances of a roll over and hell you might even run over someone and not even know u did.
