So my roommate decided to take a weekend vacation leaving me to watch after her cats. No problem no big deal. Before I left to hang out with a friend on Saturday I made sure they had food and water. Got home around 1am refilled their dishes and went to bed. Woke up smelling massivore and saw my massivore torn open and about 1/4 lb gone. No big deal it's 99% fish anyway cat will probably end up with a case of the runs. Messaged the roommate to let her know BC she had asked us to. She starts freaking out and telling me I need to kittenproof the fishtanks and if I don't by the time she gets home she will. I don't want her nailing plywood all over my stands because her cat likes to go behind it. There is nothing that can hurt the cat, meds in bottles ect. It got into the only thing accessible food. At one point she tried to tell me cats can't digest fish and its bad for them, as well as if her kitten puts it's paws into my wolf tank through the 1" gap behind the glass and gets bitten that my fish "will be gone" and she would press charges. Just so much agitation over something so stupid. Don't get me wrong I was being a jerk BC she was trying to blame everything on me but still it is ridiculous. When I told her that I wasn't going to "kittenproof" my tanks because they were already safe and that she not touch my tanks because i don't touch her stuff she decided she's going to act like a child and take her couch away.. It just blows me away how dumb and immature people can be.
