Cats are obligate carnivores haha. Fish falls under that category.

One of my mothers chihuahuas ate half a bag of hikari gold. Nothing happened to that stupid fat little tick. (Unfortunately).


Just to add, I saw a judge Judy once where a girl flushed all her ex boyfriends fish down the toilet. I can't remember what the original case was about but it was over property damage and fish were one of the topics. Judge Judy ruled that fish are just as much pets as a cat or dog and required her to replace all the fish.

Seriously! You need to kitten proof your fish tank. There's only one sure way to do it. Build a box out of plywood, put the cat in the box, and nail it shut!
