first off...cats are useless.

actually that's my only point.
Not all cats are bad. I had one for 16 years. He was a really great cat. So, much that I decided to get a second one. The second one was an absolute nightmare. I threw him out of the house and would just put food out for him(saw him about every 3 days). My mother agreed to take him. She had some land(away from neighbors) and kept him outside. I'm not sure if he disappeared or died about a year later.

My in laws have a crazy cat. I would be walking and it would latch onto my back. I would be sitting down and it would try to bite my hand off. Its just insane a typical tabby cat is the breed. The worst one was I was lying in my wifes old room at her parents and the gap from the head board to the bed the dumb idiotic cat clawed onto my neck to back area. I never hurt an animal in my life and I kicked this cat pretty hard one time it pounced at me. The look at my in laws face was priceless.

Perhaps the in laws do not like you and either their cat senses it and acts out or,they have it trained to harass and attack you.

So last night she threw $30 bucks on the table and messaged me today that it was for the massivore. I told her she could keep it because I wasn't worried about it it's not important. I also told her that I do t care if she has the cats loose in the house however the tanks are as cat proofed as they will get. Shes still being stubborn and childish and decided to keep them locked up in her room. Who knows maybe in a few days she will be ready to listen to reason.

LMAO in laws have nothing to do with it. The cat does this to them as well. I actually went with my brother in law to get the kitten and I named it Thor lol Its not trained thats the problem. It attacks everyone its insane.

I have a cat and its the friendliest thing out there. In laws have a spray bottle for the cat lol

My mom has an outdoor cat that has to be approaching 20 years old and he's great. Super friendly, really passive.

Me and gf have two cats... I call them things that'll get my post deleted lol. Some cats are just to wild to be pets lol.

That sounds like one very unappreciative cat.My grandfather who lives alone has about about four cats in his house and they all manage to disappear anytime guests come over to visit. They hide the whole time and won't come out until everyone is gone.

So this next bit is great. She decided to give me an ultimatum. I proof everything "to her standards" or she only pays $250 out of her $365 monthly rent and "officially gives up the living room"

So I responded (much calmer and collected than when this crap started) that we had all agreed she got the master bedroom we got the extra bedroom. In addition we never told her that she wasn't allowed in the living room. So that point is moot. However if you would like we can go over the fish tanks and determine what is "unsafe" and then go about fixing it. (Reasonable right?) Or option 2 she moves out, provided the apartment complex checks her room for damages after she moves and cleans.

She responds with I'm only paying $250 since the living room is "unsafe" for cats.
I told her to take her payment to the office and they can deal with it. I then asked her to define what was "unsafe" with the tanks. She said she wanted the perimeter of the tanks sealed off because it's dangerous. So naturally I asked what is dangerous within the perimeter of the tank? And she proceeds to change the subject and wont talk about it further because she knows there is nothing and her argument is invalid.

Now time to get her evicted and taken off the lease because it's obvious that she needs to grow up and not get what she wants because she's a little princess.
