guys there is this snakehead at one of my favourite shops, saw him last week. he is priced for £150 I think. It's an absolutely stunning snakehead but it looked a bit fragile so I thought I'd let it sit there another week or so in the shop and go back to see if it's still there or looking healthier.

It was labelled as a moonbeam galaxy snakehead. it's COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY stunning!!! i went there initially to get parachanna but then i saw him and i couldnt decide because they both just looked so tempting. anyone know anything about moonbeam galaxies?

im just researching it but i'd rather hear from people who have had the fish first hand experience.

btw i'm going back to this shop next week sooooo hurry and tell meeee.

hmmmmm very interesting...got anything else to add to that :D :D :D

thanks for that :) uhm it looked like it was about 6-7" last time i saw it. but it had gorgeous colouring.

Thats, quite a good price for something that size, and in agreement with every one else that is a stunning fish, get it in your tank!!

thanks! hmmm after reading that thread, sort of having second thoughts.

i do have a spare tank for it as i don't like mixing different species of channa together. i like single species tanks...i dunno...hmm what temperature are we talking about for galaxy channa?

i don't know how to make a tank cooler in temperature, basically. would i need a fan or something?

there shouldn't be a problem keeping it cool, best thing to do would be to see what the tank runs at with the heater of during the day, if its higher than 22-24 then worry about cooling it.

If you find its at about 20 any way, best to keep a heater in there for when the temperature drops at night.
