Alright so i got a group of what is suppose to be Pundamilia sp. 'Blue Bar' Hippo Point from daves rare, but lately they have turned different shades of green, so of course now im questioning what was actually sent to me!!

Anyone grown these out?? I just want a 100% id

i do not know the look of pundamilia sp. but they look almost the same as the thick skin sp.44 that i have..nice fish ...

thats what i was thinking too, , that why i want 100% id

although at this point i dont know what i can do about it anyway, but if they really aren't blue bar, then that kinda make me question the whole group

They don't look like a 44 to me, I had 1 and this doesn't look the same...They defifnitely have the pundamilia look to me. Which type that I could not answer. They may very well be hippo point.

do you have any pics of what a hippo pundamilia looks like.. i don't have any tang books...

I have several from Dave and GAS and they look just like yours. The "Blue" is subtle to say the least. I bought them because of their name not realizing they are not all that blue.
