Needle nose fish??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Mine mysteriously died overnight. still no idea why.
If you don't want to use feeders, try small crickets. Mine would eat them.

I had several break their necks (and beaks) crashing into the glass. Very neat fish, though. It's really fun to watch them go after feeders. They are extremely skittish and will kill themselves, even in a large tank.

Xenentodon cancila. It's better kept in brackish conditions and can get up to a foot in length, which isn't that much considering it's so long and slender.
They are spookish though and can easily injure themselves ramming into the sides of the tank or decor.

brackish?! mines been in fresh for more than a year, hes a foot now and it super healthy...u sure about brackish never heard or read that b4

Actually I think you're right here. Might have gotten the profiles crossed with another needle-nose type. :nilly:
