well when i got it they told me it's a neddle nose gar and or neddle fish im not sure if a neddle fish is the same as a longnose but I know for face it's a gar

Needle nose gars are actually fake gars from asia. They can be called needle nose fish. Are they silver? If they are, they are fake gars, if they're brown with spots, they're probably a real gar.

real gars have there nostrils at the end of the beak this is a true trait of all true gars needle gars have their nostrils on the skull/face area
