At What age does needle nose gars start breeding and whats the sexual difference between the male and female. I got 8" long green ones.

I don't really know much about them but I don't think anyone has bred them before.

ive kept gar of and one for 2 years. ive never heard of breeding needle nose but flordia gar have breed in rare cases. an 8 in gar and eat any feeder guppy or small gold fish. i feed my curent ones guppy and gold fish.

Can you tell me where do green ones come from. What colour are yours and how big are they. Needle Nose are different from Alligator gars and Short nose gars or are they the same! Can you post some pics of your gars here. Thanks

i have some pics of my 2 new babies, alligator gar i different from needle nose because of the size there nose are. the needle will eat small long minnow as to the alligator eatting fish up to 5 in in length. ill get some pic of mine as well. the green gar ive never kept but heard of there now diffrent from the floridar gar.

ive gottin mine to 12 in but there have been reports of 15-17in needle nose. really i think this is b.s. but its what pepole say to try and get attention.

Hey Whats the difference of the nose? Tell me which one has bigger nose? And Please Post you gars pics. I want to identify my gars by comparing them with your gars. They are green and 8" long.

green gar? are you sure? the needle nose have much loner noses. the the flordia has a siome what wider nose.
