Needlefish in a 55 Gallon

yes longer =better but it would be okay get a group of 3-5 they do best in groups its best to get them onto prepared food i got mine to eat prepared food

so are you saying that I could get a group of 3 in my 55, even with my bichir
 
idk, that may be pushing it.

i think today i'm going to buy a needlefish for my 55...and probably look at buying some community fish for my mom's tank lol

If you get the needlenose please post pics I thinking about getting one.
 
with water changes it should be fine if your asking about bioload but they do better in groups but do poorly in small numbers mainly 2 the will show aggression to each other and establish domonice over each other so if you had two one would pick on the other group bigger then 2 should spreed aggression
 
ok Ill get 2 for now and if they start to show agression i will remove one and sell it or possibly give it to a relative with a 125g
 
my needle fish eats almost anything.I got him and he didnt eat for two weeks but I just threw on the "eat or croak" mentality and now he eats hikari gold,NLS jumbo, krill and cocktail shrimp.

dont let anybody tell you they can't be weened off live I'll even take a video of mine at chow time.
