I got this little girl from a local Gold Coast Aquarium Society member a few months ago... She's a Texas/parrot cross and the only one of three so far that's fading...

She was in her own 10 gallon for about a month until I had to bring my fish inside due to a cold front and an inability to install heaters... So I put her in a breeder box in my 120 gallon temporarily (she was less than 2") and overnight she jumped out! All the other fish are african cichlids (biggest one is 4") and an 8"+ male mayan cichlid. They're getting along fine!

It's been at least a month and a half since then and it appears that the mayan likes her (she's just over two inches and vented) and defends her, but hasn't tried courting her yet. He lets her near him, closer than the others, and attacks anyone trying to pick a fight with her... I'm just going to wait and see what happens, if things get too crazy I'll take her out.

Point is, she's beginning to fade and I want to name her! This picture was when she escaped from the box and i need to take an updated one, but you can see her darker areas and faint marks were she's beginning to fade

So any suggestions? My mom suggests gretel (like hansel and gretel) lol
