Get it into it's own tank, this is likely an injury. Keep water clean, nitrates nelow 10ppm and one tablespoon salt per 10 gallon water with the temp at 84 dgrees.

yeah let me just go broke and whip out the visa card. I understand the fish grows quickly and i understand that they require alot of care and that they need there own tank so lightning UP im working as hard as I can to get this fish a nice new big tank im a contracter so I only get paid when I can work on the good days and this month has been a kick in the nuts and yes i kno I did wrong by geting him now. but jeeez us christ you all are maniacs. At the moment this fish will have to do with a 55 for the moment for bout a month I bought the fish it is my property i can do as i please with it.

Well soon you'll likely not have to deal with your arowana's health anymore.

:iagree: hes just trying to help you dude. everyone that keeps expensive and agressive fish should have a tank on stand by as a hospital just in case. Hes not trying to insult your financial status, hes just saying a part of proper care includes a hospital tank, and if you dont have one be prepaared for curing illnesses to take longer and be harder on you, the fish, and any tankmates

+ if your a contractor go to the diy section and you can build it a big tank to live in for life and a hospital tank with plywood leftover from jobs

that dude has been on my **** bout that fish that im not taking care of it. and Im trying some things just take time . Im just to the end of my rope Im not like you all that have like 3. 150 gallon tanks and all that jazz that I can move one fish to another tank. just frustrated
