Neets - Pictures

Although neets are very tough and aggressive, ime they aren't as viscious as a festae or red devil. For example, the festae will decide that it doesn't like a certain fish and will chase it all over the tank and kill it. A neet will take over a cave and chase other fish from that vicinity. More territorial. Festae's and red devils have bad intentions.
Here is a picture of mine when I received it from Rapps about 2 years ago.
Here is how it looked after it grew up. These pictures are older, the wounds have been healed up for a long time. Unfortunately it passed away today.

I had four three years ago. It was one of the most aggressive cichlids that I have ever owned.
He died during the heat wave in Socal. They are very intolerant of low oxygen level. Make sure you have good water movement when keeping these guys.
He was atleast 6"+ when he died. He would probably be 8" if he is still alive.

Finally got mine, here are the pics sorry about the mobilecam.
When I put them in they had a 3 way battle involving ramming eachothers sides and lip locking, lasted about 15mins. Fed them then they all found spots to reside! Very cute little things, they've got great blue eyes aswell.
