has anyone here kept Neets? If so what was your experience with them and can u pls post sum pics!! =)

i had a pair one of my favs and they would breed no matter what was in the tank with them i do not have any pic sorry
i currently have a pair in a 55. they are a lil rough on each other but nothing crazy. Extremely brutal towards the dithers when they spawn. Very active and outgoing. I have a thread in the media lounge with pics.
the #1 pound for pound meanest cichlid. i always wanted to keep them and salvinis together... but i rarely seem them available, and i dont really like meanie salvini too much. they sure are pretty tho
I have a breeding pair.
They're best kept in a large community of robust cichlids (where they'll be out and about and spawn regularly) vs. a species only tank (where they'll hide and beat on each other).

^ mine are in a species only tank and are always out and about. I think the key to a neet only tank is housing them in something 4 feet long.
