Thats funny u meation it cause he is not eating anything I give him. NOTHING, I mean I feed Hiraki bio gold two days ago, plantoon, dry worms, Tetra min Cichlid food. I know it might be because of the Melafix I put on the tank but lets all hope he/she will make it to next week. I m not worried about the Midas pair, although I dont really see them eat as much I thought they would they look healthy and are getting ready do breed again.

Good to see they are in caring hands.

I'm picking up a pretty bad Jag on Saturday its got hith and cloudy eye in one eye but its been getting better. Been kept in very bad conditions with a red devil that would constantly beat its ass.

Mind you this Jag is about 30cms

Looks like head rot (oscar) to me, what was the pH they were kept in?

I dont know exactly what ph my neighboor had him in.

Maintain the pH slightly on the acidic side and its head should start healing.

to bad about the o he has bad hith lots of water changes and some hikara should help i've also treated for worms when hith shows up but dont do that till he stops pouting and starts taking food again..
