Up and running with two bags of carbon in it. How long should I run it before the test fish. 20190506_135723.jpg

I put some lids on it as well, to get the water to condisate inside the tank thus getting run thru the filter/carbon. A self washing of the tank not actually under water.

If there is anything in the water the carbon should get it out in a couple days max. Id wait 48hr then pull and discard the carbon. Id then put in some fresh carbon and leave it for a week or so. If you regularly use carbon discard the second batch when you normally would. Are you adding fish to cycle the tank also?

No not to cycle, just going to jump start it off of six bags of AC50 bio-rings from the blown 55gal that have been in Caspers AC110s to stay alive.
Was gonna do a feeder fish test first. So I will get half a bags worth of rings and a single goldfish let it run. If the thing don't die off in the first day should be ok?
