They're aggressive, but they're not THAT bad. There's far worse swimming in Lake Tanganyika 
Assuming you have a 75+g, non-breeding specimens can be kept with other "rough and ready" neolamprologines (sexfasciatus, tretocephalus, nigriventris), the smaller lepidios (nkambae, kendalli) and the like. Telmatochromis sp. "temporalis shell", though small, will be able to hold their own without a problem, providing they're given adequate places to hide.
