I LOVE THE WAY THEY LOOK IN THE SCHOOL ANYONE WITH ANY EXPERIANCE BREEDING THEM? I THINK THEY WOULD LOOK AWSOME IN MY GUPPY PLATY TANK

Neon tetras are hard to breed. If you do want to breed them, put them in a tank with no gravel filled with rainwater, and feed nothing but live food. After they spawn, take out the neon tetras and feed the fry Infusoria until they are big enough to eat bbs.

Pretty straightforward and easy to breed. Just research off the internet. The hard part is raising such small fry of you have no fish husbandry experience. You need to culture very tiny live food for the tiny live fish fry. Timing the live culture to boom when you need it and have staggered subsequent cultures afterwards is all part of the fun. Easy to overfeed and kill the fish, easy to underfeed and starve the fish.

Its very rewarding though so give it a go and post up your results.

They are fairly easy to breed but you have to be willing to maintain proper water conditions as they are touchy.
