Just bought a new high powered microscope, a teenie tiny water proof endiscope, and some new stuff for my chemistry set. now Emma and I are in the garage being mad scientists. She's helping me perform a necropsy on a rescue fish that passed away last week. Its been in the freezer waiting for the new gear.

Do y'all share your weird passions?

I'm pretty weird, I like skulls, things made of bones, made catfish leather, weapons, etc

Also enjoy rock stacking, hunting and improving wildlife habitat
Those do sound like some cool intrests. I might have to look into these

At the tender age of five, mom introduced me to them plastic models kits. At first they were snap-togethers, that didn't last long. I soon upgraded to glue together ones, shortly after that started painting them to look as real as possible. At one point I had nearly all of the aircraft our military uses. Still to this day I have a bunch of boxes with models in them I have built over the years waiting for me to get one of them fancy glass cases to put them in, after some minor repairs.

You should display them. I have a friend who is into model trains. Has a whole room set up with little trees, a fully replicated town next to a mountain. He's got bridges and tunnels, little people and cars at railroad crossings. ...no girlfriend...but that trainroom is freakin sweet!

You feel like a kid again when you go in there

Go forth and spread the fishy gospel then lol.

Emma just put her own booger on a slide and is looking at it under the microscope scope. Typical 8yr old.
Oh good God!.....just what I needed to read while I am having my dinner.
