I’m not sure if I have the patience yet to work a recurve any time soon. We did have a setup at my old house in the back yard with my 3D foam target coyote. That was fun. My bow is way too powerful to even think of going for a squirrel or a bird. Guaranteed I’m never using that arrow again, and even if I do hit it there’s no telling what it would hit after it goes through the target said animal.... that might be the impetus for me to start with a traditional bow. Lol.I find they usually run away.
They almost never fight like men, but if they were real men they wouldn't do things like rob....
As far as bows I prefer recurve, a little more skill is required, but a good recurve has better range.
As far as hunting goes why not practice on house sparrows and Eurasian starlings, both are invasive with negative affects on native birds.
Got a pic of the sword?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I was told this was a great sword when it was given to me.
