It was brought to my attention that there wasn't a thread for membership to the Nerd Herd. The only requirement is to have a nerdy streak in your life...and a nerdy way to describe your membership number.

Here is the code for your signature:

Nerd Herd
member # [ ]

If you need help with an equation or formula, just ask.

Btw, member #2 is reserved for Kobeclone, who really inspired this thread.

Is it sad that I know what your member number is from your sig????

How do I become a member....guess I missed the thread

I suppose an explanation of the equations would make sense too. Mine is from Calculus and Trigonometry.

Limits are a simple way to find an asymptotic relationship or as an equation approaches a specific point. The solution of my equation is where X approaches zero.

Trigonometric functions are repeating cyclic functions or wave functions. The sine and cosine functions fall between the limits of -1 and 1. At zero, sin x = 0 and cos x = 1.

The rest is simple math, resulting in my member number to be one.

awww can mine be science equation instead...i hate maths

{6co2+6H20}//~{C6H12O6+602} :D

Yep, that is fine if it is the best way to describe your nerdiness.

I can't do math, so can mine be philosophical?

What's the purpose of numbers?
What's the purpose of letters?
Are they any different?
Does that mean they are the same?
Therefore numbers = letters,
so, fore = 4

Nerd Herd #4?

Does this work?

Got it!

3+3 = 6
