a complete system, im not sure on wattage, maby 175 or 250 i think 400 would be do bright.

i would say skip the aquarium suppliers and go with a grow shop. i would think there would be something local if not lots of online suppliers they will have complete kits with any type of reflector you could want. if your worried about heat get a sealed air cooled reflector

I have a trickle system on all my large tanks and I love it!
 
Animal Island in Midloathian gets big plecos. They are all from trade-ins he doesn't always have them but I see them there. Midloathian is like 2 hours from Peoria though.

Ive never heard of Midloathian, so somtime ill have to head out to check out animal island.
