This weekend im starting my 10' by 5' by 32'' build with a 6' by 4' by 24'' sump. im useing 3/4inch Plywood.

But im left with one question. if you have to move you tank you need braceing under your tank for the seems. how should i do this?

Pictures will come this weekend.

(Nerves are a killer!!!)

Where you gonna move that beast! If I remember right you are gonna brace the outside, so just tip up and move that way using the back bracing as support.

Good luck, hell of a under taking.

what fish would u be putting in the 1,000

that my friend is a secret for the moment.

i figured with the seems in the middle of the bottom itd split on me when i moved the tank. because the only thing holding it would be my epoxy.

everywhere a black line is is a seam. mabe im over freaking out and the epoxy will hold the seams by itself. then again id like to double check.

Well, if you don't mind buying the extra plywood, you could always do a double layer on the bottom and stagger the seams so that they'll be in different places. Or you could reinforce the bottom with external framing, just like the sides. Or you could put 2x4's (or whatever you want) flat side down on the outside of the bottom, overlapping each piece of plywood along the seams.
