I've had luck using a bath towel. As weird as it sounds. Guide him in, lift one side then the other ad you're all set. Expect a giant mess though.

big plastic bag works like a charm, I had many success trying to move my aros and catfishes for relocation.

Just grab em by the bloody gills and toss'em in, works like a charm for me.

My 8" B. tigrinum suddenly died after I moved it to another tank, I used to use net. Could that be the cause? (Got stressed and died?)
