Pillow cases can work, so can massive bags. All depends on the species one is catching.

MY advice i to move them to their permanent tank while they are small, that way you don’t have to net them later.

I think what Mr geophagus is getting at RD is that when you put said fish in its permanent tank, when you come to sell it later, you sell it WITH the tank. That way you don't have to net it out. You just get your car very wet whilst you're transporting it!!!
