i dont think its parasites.
cause i breed them myself.
unless i run out.
and all my other fish are fine when they eat the feeder.

lost another.
after changing the water.
i noticed that one of them was acting funny.
the same way the rest die.
well.
he died so i fed him to my aro.
is there a pbass disease you guys arent telling me about????
the lfs has some 5 inch tems and im dam tempted to try.
but im afraid of loosing some awesome fish that some other guy could be lucky with. :(

^^^ i agree ^^^
first you need to answer as much as you can... that danh has asked you..;)
and as for me im only curious about your temp on your tank!!!???!!!
cuz if there dying a particular way that you have seen before... and supposing all water params are correct as you say... i mean nitrates you cant do anything about that... cuz they eat, piss & #2 all the time... some theres always a difference there w/nitrates.... :D but like i said i have a strong feeling its your temp.....!!! when asked for advise or help... i only can ask for honesty from you.. so if you messed up... lessoned learned... NO,, BIGGY...;)

not to offend you BRADDA... its just certain people have a hard time being honest,, especially they knew they were wrong...;)

And like I said, if you've got 0 nitrates, then you've got a problem.. One or all of your tests are bad, that is if you really did tests to come up with those zeros.

oops.
temps 30 degrees celcius.
always the same.
filters would be a wet/dry,an undergravel filter and a sponge filter.
normally i use a hose to suck out water into the sink and vice versa.
but i accidentally cut the hose and its too short.....
so now i have to use 2 5g buckets to do waterchanges.
i use anti chlorine and salt fro the tank.
currently 1 pbass left.
but normally i start out with 3.
only other tankmate is through a divider.
a 2.5 inch channa pulchra.
this one has been alive for about a mth.
tanks 3 foot by 1.5 by 1.5.
20g.
i think theres something wrong with the water tester...
it said 0 nitrates even in my other tank.
i'll get my friends and try again.

back from cali guys.. yea a 20 gallon tnak and 10 gallon water changes. im thinking large temp changes and large ph swings

If he died from what might be parasites or something else don't feed'im to your aro! btw, your case is strange. pb have been one of the hardiest fish i've ever kept. gotten them small too - less than 2". always amazed to see them chew down rosie reds 1/2 their body length.

I do think that very small pbass, less than 3" are pretty fragile. Maybe not like a ray or some other fish, but they are much different below that size than above.
