That's really a pretty bad situation. If he's willing to kill your pets because he doesn't agree with you or cant reach a resolution, that would be serious abuse. I'm with cohazard, he might need to go, especially if there are other signs of aggression.

i agree... killing your pets is not cool..what's next? i wouldn't put up with that...i say wait till he's gone out and change the locks...keep all his fish. if he wants them he can bring you to court...most guys are too lazy to do that....what a dumb ass

Yeah if anyone did anything to my fish (GOLDFISH) which I am barely even attatched to I would beat them or seriously damage some property of theirs. And if anyone touched any of my reps well then I'll see you in twenty years. I can't imagine anything making me more angry.

I had a friend once who actually got upset with me because I take good care of my fish. They got angry that I'd pay so much attention to them, and eventually they put one of my fish at the time (A really nice Ryukin goldfish that was going to be a present for my girlfriend) into a plastic zipbag, and then into a freezer. Since I couldn't do the same under penalty of the law, he got a lengthy talking to, and then another lengthy talk to a fist. /end of that.

I'd definately say there's a problem when something like that happens. I'd look into getting out of there, especially considering how hard it is to find a girl who likes fish in the first place... and then to complain about it! The nerve of some people kills me.

I got so angry when I read your post. If your bf is willing to do that to you then he needs to go ASAP.

Oh my gosh I have a whole tank still going because of one little blue crayfish that I didnt want to give up. She can't go into any of the big tanks so we keep her in a 29 gallon almost to herself. My husband is dying to get rid of that tank but I wont let him.

If he ever did anythign to my crayfish I'd so totally kick his ***!!!!!

LOL she stretches the truth...although the way she puts it is incredibly funny..

She had a 29 gallon with the cockatoo's in it and a 10 gallon with some juvies from the last time they had breed, maybe 1".

Sure like she says the water noise isn't all that bad as long as she kept the water level up but she never did!I had to top it off every single night before going to bed. This is in addition to the fact that I have extreme trouble sleeping (like actual medical problems I take meds that hardly work for) and the fact that we had discussed "no tanks in the room"(all my tanks are to big so it doesn't apply to me)

I kept telling her everyday for like 2 months "you need to put those tanks downstairs with the rest they are driving me crazy." and every time the same excuse "it's not that bad as long as I keep the water level up!"

One morning before I leave I tell her "If those fish are here when I get back they are fish food."

I came home and nothing had been moved,so I put the juvies in my FH tank and moved the 29 downstairs right where I had asked her to put it.....she just wanted to make an amusing story for you guys I'm thinking.

As for her kicking me out, well,we've made it 9 years.....and she lives in my house....LOL

anyway I'm pretty sure she stopped coming on here because I had given her a hard time on one of the threads she started and she got butt-hurt.I'll get her back on though.
