never overfeed your fish!

they always seem hungry, i just fall under the pressure. i have a little arowana that eats a lot and always creates a lot of waste

if you think you overfeed fast them for a day or so on weekends, or just feed everyother day, most fish dont need a 4 course meal 3x a day so they most certainly wont starve to death! A hungry fish is a healthy fish!

If not then atleast vac ur tank bi weekly and keep params noted! Its funny to me how people will do anything to avoid vaccing like adding salt or bottled medicines! Just old fashion suction can prevent many deaths alone! And its easy when changing the water to do a 3 min vac session!

I feed my fish once a day. I clean my aquariums every week. I just fed a little too much once a day.

A third thing what could happen particularly with pellets is that the fish eat till their stomachs are full, then the pellets bloat.. you can think yourself the rest.

i think i just did this to my flowerhorn... But she eats all the other fishes food as well, when i feed them live fish she goes crazy and takes them all. or hikari gold she never stops eating it.

a water change should be done weekly. if you are able to do it weekly... 25% is plenty. if you are not..... you run the risk of toxic water.
