They started off with Vancomycin. But it didnt react at all. Im now taking Zyvox and its doing something. Ive also been on some various Pain meds.
Never take health or life for granted. This sucks

Thanks for the well wishes. Some notes to remember..... Hospital beds suck for comfort. People always tell you get some rest, But in a hospital that will never happen cause every 2 hours they are messing with you, A fever for extended periods of time ranging from 102 to 105 leaning more towards the 105 does not mean girls find you hot. Speaking of hot... I got lucky with all my nurses on my floor. 
That gown they make you wear will never be fashionable and its drafty feeling at the backside.
If you ever want to feel better about your situation in the hospital Look at some of the other folks in here and see how much better you may have it.

Linezolid is pretty serious business, and can wipe out the beneficial bacteria normally living in your gut. I'd stock up on yogurt with live active cultures of those beneficial bacteria to make sure no undesireable bacteria like Clostridium difficile take up residence (this happens frequently in older patients who take antibiotic treatments over a month long!).

Thats what they have told me. But due to my issues with being highly allergic to most antibiotics its one of the few that work and I hear it was developed to combat medically resistant staph like im dealing with.
Speaking of hot... I got lucky with all my nurses on my floor.
If only you meant it how I'm reading it--it might be worth the infection.
