Aww, I thought I had the winner. Just filled up this afternoon for $2.03. I'm just soaking it up while I can, because I'm betting that after the election it tops $4.00 (it's been $3.89 at it's peak here, so adjust for your location).

yeah the gas companies are just messing with us, they made more profits this year then they've ever made before, 18 billion dollars. opec is going to screw us over more in the coming weeks once they start producing less gas.

The Federal and State governments make more $$$ off taxing gas than the oil companies make in net profit!!! Something to think about!!!!

Saw it posted some where. Don't have the exact figures. Do the math! In California we pay aprox. 20% of a gallon of gas towards tax! It's posted on the pumps. No way does ANY oil company make 20% net profit!!!
