I never knew people could be allergic to them until today at Uncle Neds Fis Factory. Apparently Sam AND Ned both are allergic! Crazy! What exactly is it that you are allergic to in them?

OMG! LOL from now on if you don't want to touch the bloodworms wear unpowdered/unscented/un-anything latex gloves. No more sharp objects!

PS: If you thaw bloodworms first won't you just have a bunch of tiny little worms all over the water?

You brought a good question. The theory was that as bloodworms are simply proteins which is very true, the moment you touch them with your bare skin, the histamine is released as the body reacts thus causing you to swell and/or itch.

Frozen bloodworms are dead and they're not worms but midge larva of a nonbiting mosquito.

yah the jardini's okay. few seconds later he went straight for the other food at the same pace. he's fine today too, no visible damage. he's an aggressive eater with/without tankmates.

i've tried it a few times but the jardini doesnt seem to like to go for really small pieces of food. it loses interest quickly.
