y'know if that was my tank i wouldnt add anything to it (zeolite) you do want ammonia in there so daily water changes will keep it low enough to be safe and high enough to cultivate the bacteria you need. personally i think thats gonna be on the small side for a fully grown pacu with all those other fish
Well.. I added everybody to my 105 gallon after the ammonia levels were zero consistantly. And well. Everybody did fine for days and days but then my slightly bigger severum started to beat on my tad bit smaller one and made him miserable. And my Oscar decided his tank was HIS ONLY and began chasing the severums and making their and the Tinfoil barbs life miserable too....So everybody is back in their old tank! This is so frustrating. I can't believe I got a big aquarium for basically my Tinfoil barbs to swim around in. And since my Oscar is back in his 29 gallon I'll try to get him over his HITH with salt and vitamins. Maybe a treatment too. I have already run him over with Metronidazole with JUNGLE'S hole-in-the-head medication. I treated for three days as the instructions told me and he doesn't seem any better. Anyway.... I wish all my fish could just live together. But they were making each-other miserable. I guess there is nothing I can do. Now I am on the road of trying to take---- my severums to the petstore....... They are my golden treasure but they have nowhere to go.....Gosh I don't know what to do. It's just my luck this wouldn't work out.....................
And don't worry. I won't add Pacus to my aquarium.....I've got enough to deal with already..
