I have herd of people keeping small neon tetras or convicts or other small fish with large rhoms with no problems

You can put whatever you want in the tank, but nothing is safe, depends on the fish, even my 3" juvy picks off tetras and it killed my 2-3 dozen established ghost shrimp colony after a week or two of being in my 90.

It's cause they're so little and fast. Too much effort, little pay off. "dithers"
