New 12' Tank!!

Well to each his own. I'd love to have the tank, but if it was mine, I'd probably run a lot less canisters. Even if you only have to clean them once every couple of months, man that's going to be a big job cleaning them all at once... so likely you'll wind up cleaning 2-3 a week... if you only had 6 it'd be less maintenance. But like I said, it's an awesome setup. If you got another large tank it would be easy to cycle with a few spare cans

Definitely... not one person here will not love the tank.

It's just that everyone has a different idea on filtration techniques. Anyone that was not on the same page as the OP was considered a flamer or hater.

He was expecting that he would post his pics and setup and get nothing but atta-boys...

I probably wouldn't used twenty maybe ten(i don't have that much money! and have a diy tub with A** losd of mech filtration! "but to each his own.."

The most impressive tank I ever saw was a 10 gallon planted tank. This is a great tank size, and definately plenty of filtration. I congratulate the OP on that. Now, I will sit back and wait to see what he makes of it. Will it be an (ugly) bare bottom tank, or will it be aquascaped to perfection? What fish will be in there, and how will they look with each other and the aquascaping? Currently it looks more like it belongs in a starship, but considering the patience and perfection displayed in the beginning setup, I wait to be amazed with the final result.

I would agree Wylfya knows his Stuff his ponit's were very vaild and sounds like from much experience, but I dont think he's going to change his set up.
