Thnx for the comments and yes if it leaks i would be screwed but ill take that chance. It is noisy but im used to hearing a chinichilla bouncing off wooden shelves and metal mesh cage so ill survive tonight will be the first night tryin to sleep with the sump. Hopefully i wont have to put in earplugs.

I really do love this Idea, but lets face it. we all know that a no spill clean and spill still drips here and there. No way I'd be able to talk the wife into it. Nice tank BTW.

atleast at 15 you SHOULDENT be worried about woman breaking the tank

Here's mine I had custom built & is about 70 gallons with built in filter system, live plants, T5 lighting.
This is when i first set it up and now is pretty much full with plants & has a black back with asst rainbows, Bn's and albino eureka peacock.
