New 120 gallon tank

Very Nice!!! I have some driftood I picked up locally soaking right now but They look nothing close to this quality! Are his pieces of wood pre soaked so they dont release tannins?

Thanks all this wood is manzanita from manzman he has great peices. I soaked them overbite and they leached a little bit of tannins but no they're not presoaked. I'm expectin them to leach a lot more into the tank, wich i will remove with carbon and wc, but I also like the dark water look

I have a question about my heater. It's a eheim jager250 watt heater. I really don't like how rite now I have a long silver stick close to the middle of my tank. If I put it in one of the corners, will one of the sides be hotter than the other, creatin uneven hot and cold water in the tank? Or can I do it?

Does anyone have any opinions on this? I'd like to put it in a corner so the tank looks better but don't know if the other side wouldn't get heated
