Looks Nice! And Clean!!!

Wow, I am surprised it has been 3 months by how clean it all looks.

You bought some really big rocks, they look real nice. IMO, I like the gap in the middle and don't think you should fill it in.

One thing I would look into is the Zoanthids. I don't know how long they have been there, so they may still be adjusting, but they look to me to be a little more brownish than they should be. I can see the underlying colors and they should really pop. They may need more or less light depending on what you are running.

Its getting close to 3 months. 2 and some change. Though I have been stocking slowly and did not add all of the rock at once. I do really enjoy the bigger rocks, however have been fighting red eyed crabs and stone crabs to no end! The real big ones on the bottom far left were 15-20 lbs each! My wife changed the rock formation to how it sits now while I was in Alabama last week and it looks ok, so I will leave it and keep her happy too. I have no intention of closing that gap. I really like how it leaves the center open.

The zoa's have only been in there a couple days and have had my halides on since they have been in. Halides have been on there since Friday and got the zoa's and leather Saturday. I run two 250 watt 15k halides and 4 96w actinics. My cameras seem to suck though, since the colors on the zoa's pop a bit more in person. Maybe I will move them up a bit and see how they respond, but I would think the halides would penetrate to the bottom just fine for thier needs. There are greens, orange, and pinks. The light increase has created a bloom of diatom algae this week though. Will be siphoning that out in the coming days.

Finished up my new 30 gallon sump today and it will be going in this weekend. I have had my skimmer off for two weeks now because of space issues and the fact that it would over flow my current sump if the power were cut off. Left space for a refugium in the center with a deep sand bed and rocks/algae. Will also add some cerith or nassarius snails in there to deal with any waste that may find its way into the sand.

Looks really nice. I know my tanks have been works in progress since I have set them up. I think thats normal though.

I like the rocks as well, although I think a few more in the foreground and making the gap bigger would look nice too. The rocks themselves look really good as well. Either way, its looks good and the fish look happy.

Thank you very much. I am very excited about this tank. I was standing when I took that video and it makes everything look shorter so the gap is bigger than what you think. I will try ro get a video at eye level sometime. I plan to have Manu corals in the foreground :).

do you also have any pics of the filtration cause i might jsut trun my 125 into salt

I run two emperor 350s for extra flow and surface agitation as well as a wet dry filter. I am switching to a 30 gallon sump/refugium this weekend though and will have my odyssea p 160 skimmer in there.
