Imo 5 rbp in a 125 is ok, that's 25gal per fish, kind of in the middle, some say 30 some say 20. So far so good, they are only going to grow 1-3 more inches so they should be alright.

Picked up the 1050 pump n really wished I went larger. Guess just gonna add a second one to the tank. I change the aim every week. One week at top of water next week in middle. They love swimming in the current. I have 2 ac110 on tank n think I need more water agitation so I leave it blasting the surface

The footprint of the tank is more important then the gallons, just consider 20gal per fish the minimum, and imo 18" width is also minimum when considering a tank!

Yes they love current, try a hydor korilia 1400 EVO circulator, their awesome!
