The plants are called POTHOS. Only the roots are submerged and they actually consume nitrates making life easier because less nitrates equal less water changes!

Check out the sticky in my signature below, there's a ton of ways to set this plant up and its easily obtainable for 10$ at your hardware store, nursery and even my grocery store has them! If you have any questions you can ask there and I will answer :)

Only the roots are in the tank but yea its an ivy plants, some call it devils ivy. Very effective for nitrate removal!

Very beautiful tank! Im inspired. Got 9 rbp 3 to 5"s going to put them in a 135 gal next weekend. Cant wait to watch the pothon,s grow.

Wow somehow my P's either fought like hell or they ran into something but there's only wood and plastic inside the tank!

Nice little chunk out the side

And one other has a smaller gash. Luckily I did a big wc Monday morning and I added salt today. Should heal up! Hoping its territorial since I see spots where they have dug and trimmed plants!

Time will tell.....
